Privacy Policy

This policy explains what VForge ("we", "us") collects when you use vforge.app (the "Service"), why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your Google account ID, email address, display name, and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
Content you provide. Video topics, briefs, scripts (including your edits), custom voice-style descriptions, custom visual-style descriptions, and music files you upload.
Generated content. The videos, thumbnails, captions, and metadata the Service creates for you, stored so you can download them during your plan's keep period.
Usage data. Pages visited, features used, video creation events, and approximate region — collected only with your analytics consent where required (see Cookies below).
Billing data. Handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer reference, plan, and purchase history — never your card number.
Why we collect it
- To run the Service: create your videos, manage your minutes, deliver downloads.
- To bill you for paid plans and top-up minutes.
- To send transactional email: video ready/failed notices, expiry warnings, payment and subscription notices.
- To keep the Service safe: abuse prevention, rate limiting, content moderation.
- To improve the product, using aggregated analytics where consented.
How long we keep it
- Generated videos: per your plan's keep period (7–180 days), then deleted from storage.
- Account data: while your account exists. Deleting your account starts a 14-day grace period, after which your data is permanently removed and your account record is anonymized.
- Billing records: as required for tax and accounting law.
- Logs: up to 30 days.
Sub-processors
We share data only with the services that operate VForge:

Your prompts and scripts are sent to AI providers solely to generate your content and are subject to those providers' data-processing terms.
Cookies
- Strictly necessary — session sign-in, security, your theme choice. Always on.
- Analytics — product usage statistics (PostHog). Off until you consent if you're in the EU/EEA/UK; opt-out anytime elsewhere.
- Marketing — none.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR), you can: access a copy of your data (Settings → Download my data), correct it, delete it (Settings → Delete my account), object to or restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Security
Transport encryption (TLS) everywhere, encrypted storage at rest, secrets isolated from the application database, access limited to operators who need it. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to the address below.
Children
VForge is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll post changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
